How PrairieTask works

A place for people in Saskatchewan to find someone local for everyday jobs. No account needed to look around, and no app to install — posting takes about a minute and you’ll only ever be asked for an email so replies can reach you.

What it costs

The marketplace is free

Posting a task, browsing, creating a helper profile, and messaging anyone are all free, and we take no cut of what you agree.

Two things are optional and paid: featuring a task ($5 for 7 days) or a helper profile ($9 for 7 days) to sit above standard results. Featuring buys placement. It does not promise that anyone replies.

Contact details

Your email and mobile number are never shown on a listing. You message each other through PrairieTask, and once a poster chooses a helper the two of you get each other’s number so you can sort out the practical bits.

Paying for the work

You and the other person sort that out directly — cash, e-transfer, whatever suits you. PrairieTask does not hold the money and is not a party to the job.
